Bangsar LRT station
Kelana Jaya Line Light Rail Transit (LRT) began its operation in September 1998. Wholly owned by Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad and handled by Rapid KL, it has numerous stations around the city to convenient frequent users to travel from one point to another destination.
One of the stations, an elevated station above Jalan Bangsar connects Bangsar residents to other parts of Malaysia’s capital city, Kuala Lumpur. Besides serving as one of the most used LRT station, the station also serves as the rapid KL bus hub. The bus stop serves variety of bus routes including those that passes between Kuala Lumpur, Shah Alam, Petaling Jaya and Klang. Thus, public transportation users can choose between using Light Rail Transit or other forms of transportation.
For those who would like to travel around Bangsar Township, one can easily wait for rapid KL bus number U82 or U83 as it ferry passengers from the station to other commercial buildings in the vicinity such as Wisma MBSB, Bangsar Tower, Bangsar Shopping Centre and many more.
